Entry is at 3+ by interview. Children may be registered from birth.
Curriculum: The usual Common Entrance subjects are taught plus French and Latin from 8, Art and Craft, Music and Country Dancing.
Reports and Consultation: Reports are sent each term, children receiving a report book. There is an annual Open Day in July and various events are held each term. Parents are welcome in school for consultation by appointment.
Leavers: 60% go on to independent boarding schools and others proceed to local day schools in both the independent and state sectors.
Sports: Include Athletics, Cricket, Football, Netball and Rounders, Swimming.
Clubs and Societies: Chess, Senior and Junior Choirs, Piano and Recorders, Pottery, Orchestra.
Regligious Services: Prayers are held every morning.
Scholarships: There is a reduction in fees for brothers and sisters attending together.
Comments: Founded in 1947, the school prepares children for a wide number of examinations, for independent boarding and local day schools. A Christian background and emphasis on good manners and consideration for others, together with small classes and individual attention, leads to a good working atmosphere in which pupils can progress at their own pace. School transport from Weymouth, Upwey etc.
